Step 1: Try a Free Workout
Each week we hold a free workout for those who are interested in joining, but might have questions, feel intimidated or just need to “check things out”. This is a pressure-free class aimed at explaining our CrossFit programming and class structure, hearing about your goals and getting a better sense of your expectations, fitness level and experience.
When: Every Tuesday night at 6:15pm
We’ll lead you through a warm-up and a basic body-weight CrossFit workout (scaled to your level of fitness). This is a good opportunity to answer all your questions, as well.

Step 2: Start With The Beginner Series or Private Training
BEGINNER SERIES: All beginner classes are from 7:15 – 8:45pm
Option A: March 5th, 7th and 8th
Option B: March 19th, 21st, 22nd
At CrossFit Athlete Lab, we’re in the business of making you stronger, faster, and more flexible. We cater to pro-active, self-motivated people who take their health and wellness seriously. We take pride in giving you the tools to succeed and the community base to support you.
Our beginner series is required for new clients before jumping into regular class times. You will learn movements that include working with barbells, kettlebells, rings, pull-up bars, dumbbells and much more.
Each evening, you will also end with a workout to practice what you’ve just learned. Our main focus is form and technique, such that you have the confidence to start regular classes. This is also a great opportunity for coaches to get a sense of how to best assist you in regular classes.
As a beginner member of CrossFit Athlete Lab, you’ll receive many incentives to start your training off right. Your Beginner Series investment includes:
a. Only 3 sessions of detailed training, such that you are able to attend regular class times in less than a week.
b. Unlimited classes for 3 more weeks after your Beginner Series is finished.
c. Small group coaching with focused attention on each individual.
d. A 60-page Whole9 Nutritional Guide that will set in motion learning HOW and WHAT to eat for

e. Bonus 12-recipe Paleo Booklet (PDF) included with your nutrition guide.
f. Discount group body fat testing at the University of Minnesota every 6 months.

After you register, you’ll automatically be signed up for the 3 month package, unless you’d like the 6-month. (There may be exceptions to month to month depending on your situation). The first auto-payment for regular group classes will go out 3 weeks after you’ve finished your Beginner Series.
PRIVATE TRAINING:
If the Beginner Series schedule doesn’t suit your needs or if you’re more comfortable with private training during the day, you can schedule this 3-session series with a coach. Each session lasts 90 minutes and you’ll receive all of the extra incentives as regular Beginner Series training. (Via email, we set up times to meet according to your schedule.)

Step 3: Sign In
Once you REGISTER FOR THE BEGINNER SERIES HERE. Simply show up to the session dates & times that you registered for. Once you’re attending regular group classes, sign into the classes that you’d like to attend by going to the top of our homepage, MY WORKOUTS. This helps coaches prepare for everyone and we can run classes smoothly if special accommodations need to be made for you.
Step 4: Be Consistent and Get Involved
The fastest and most reliable way for you to make progress is to attend your beginner classes on a regular basis. Additionally, your experience at CrossFit Athlete Lab is made even better when you get involved in our community events, social outings and more. This is a fun way to make new friends and build camaraderie. With all the new friends you have, your classes become more than just a workout. You’ll be surrounded by supportive, like-minded people who want to improve YOUR life, just as much as they want to improve theirs.
