Alternating:
Bulgarian Splits 5 x 5 (Each leg)
Hanging Around the Worlds 5 x 8 (total)
Static Hip Extension Holds 5 x 15-20 seconds.

METCON

For Time:
15 Back Squats (your bodyweight)
12 Front Squats (-10 lbs)
9 Back Squats (same as previous set)
6 Front Squats (-10 pounds)
3 Back Squats (same as previous set)
1 Front Squat (-10 pounds)
Advanced: As prescribed
Functional: Your starting load approx. 80% of your bodyweight. Loading should feel like you may need 2 sets to get through the 15’s and 12’s. Not meant to string together entirely.

Nutrition Challenge

 

 

 

 

WHEN:   Monday, October 12th – Sunday, November 22nd at midnight

HOW:  You will be in teams of 3-4, so start finding friends and sign up!

WHAT:  

  • Informational Seminar at the gym on Friday, October 9th at 6pm.
  • Before photos can be taken after the seminar, or on Saturday the 10th between 1-3pm.
  • Basics of nutrition, understanding your metabolism, explain the WHY as to how we picked our “eat these” and “DON’T EAT THESE” lists!
  • Rules, how to’s, do’s and don’ts, how to track your points, etc.
To be able to participate in this challenge you MUST REGISTER BY OCTOBER 2nd.

You can choose to complete a Bod Pod assessment at the University of MN before and after the challenge.  We have reserved 4 dates and times for you.  (We have to work around Vikings and Gopher football games).

Pre-Challenge Times:  Oct. 10th from 9-1pm, Oct. 11th from 11-3pm

Post-Challenge Times:  Nov. 20th from 5-9pm, Nov. 22nd from 5-9pm
