Our CrossFit Kids program is for ages 5-9 years old. Classes are structured to be safe and enjoyed by all the kids participating. They always begin with a fun obstacle course warm-up, followed by focus or skill work, then the WOD (workout of the day) and ends with a fun, active game.
Our mission is to increase confidence in every child and help them reach heights they didn’t think they were capable of. We are proud to offer a 4-level program such that each child will have the chance to earn badges with each skill level they achieve. As a Level 4 CrossFit Kid, they become a mentor in class and have to opportunity to be a leader and a motivator for others.
CrossFit Kids utilizes the 10 components of fitness, just like adult classes:
ENDURANCE, STAMINA, STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, POWER, COORDINATION, AGILITY, BALANCE, ACCURACY, SPEED
Typical skills that kids will be working on and improving: pull-up strength, proper squatting form, balance beam drills, climbing ropes, proper push-up form, learning how to jump high on a box, flipping tires, and much more!
Please bring a water bottle, wear appropriate athletic clothing (avoid extremely loose or baggy clothes) and athletic shoes. Keep jewelry, belts, etc. minimal to prevent safety issues.
Class is held on Thursday from 6pm – 6:50pm
Session #1: November 1st – December 13th (6 classes, no class the week of Thanksgiving)
Session #2: January 3rd – February 7th
Cost per 6-week session: $60 for one child, $108 for two children in same household
